m10 install questions

have an 03 rx-1 ,also have a m10 that is in my v-max 4. i would like to install in rx-1 with 136 ext kit ; do i need the universal install kit or could i locate front holes and mount from there, also is the ride with the 136 ext. as good as a 136 skid.

Get a new kit

The installation kit for the RX-1 is all by it self and so much easyer to install then all the other kits. All you have to do is move the rear mount plates and install your M10 with the right kit, NOT THE UNIVERSAL KIT
Your ride will be night and day aftrer you install the M-10 , it sure did in mine you can ask bostonRX1 after trying mine he is going to install one in his.

coolblue, if your M-10 is the metric one 01 and older, you will not be able to get 136 extensions for it. Fast might still have complete rails, but they will be pricey. I was told the extensions I purchased 2 yrs ago were the last ones, and I was lucky to have special aluminum blades to make it fit (angles were cut wrong)
