M9 skis are finally in!

Saw a set of those on a Nytro MTX at the Novi show this year- definitely peaked my interest. I've already got too many pairs of aftermarket skis laying around, but I'll sure be interested to see how they work out for ya! The blow molding is a neat concept- wondering how they will hold up to abrasion with time (road crossings, etc.) Let us know your feelings once you get some carbides!

can you get them in different colors? i wouldn't mind tryin a set on my mtx but i can't see me getting a plane black set.

7.5 inches wide where it connects to ski. 9.5 at the widest point near the tip. And yes the carbides are on backorder...

Wow, those are seriously wide skis. Keep us posted how they work once the carbides show up.

Thanks, G.B.

Ya, definitely let us know --- they sound sweet!!!!!!

I bet once Yammi get rolling with these they'll offer all sorts of after market gadgets, billet items, and colors for them.....

they are light, 5 1/4 lbs(on a dail scale) no carbide

One thing about blow mold material, it is hard, it will hold paint great I bet, doesnt feel slick like some plastics that are formed with wax in the plastic.

in the summer they will make a mount for your foot for skiing on the lake.

These things are mammoth! They make slp powder pros look like stock yamaha skis.

You should come up to Harbor, we have a lot of snow and the trails are good. You can always park at the snowmobile club and ride from there.

Aren't those the new 2010/2011 skis for the mountain sleds from yamaha?

Yamaha makes no mention of them in their literature.

Well I just got to ride the 2011 Apex 128" and 144" and they were not on either of them.

I wonder if they cause issue with standard trailer widths? My Curves on Attak and Vector are touching in my cover Floe trailer.
