Apex and Mach Z

I have this boil on my left butt cheek, been draining for a month........ BTW, Lazy is right on the transfer issue. I hate to admit it, but most of the time he knows his suspensions. Trust him on this one and lets get back to bashing Dave already .

I gave my friends mach the business at least in the quarter already. Even if the mach is 5 mph faster on the lake and 10 pounds less I wouldn,t trade the machs smell,vibrations,poorer general quality,lack of electronic shock and higher price for my apexgt.Oh yeah I forgot the machs lack of electric start also.

Its just looks to me like two strokes day are numbered Yamaha is closing the gap like knowone else can! DOO & POO & Craps Its Yamahahahahahaha having the last laugh.

mnmsnowbeast, Allan sumed it up verry well, The only problem is puting it all togeather and making it all work, That is why i buy the kit's frome the expert's. They have a lot of time and money invested in the equipment for testing and tuning so i don't mind paying them a few buck's for there work. The spring and helix that Jeff uses is a custom setup so i don't have any idea what the rates are. All i can tell you is it has more compression force and a stronger wind. The primary uses the stock spring with HH weight's. I have not been able to run any top end run's yet but it does back shift quicker and pull much harder to 90 or so. Jeff said this kit cut 1/2 second off there quarter mile asphault times frome stock and i am not sure on the MPH but i think it was 118. kviper

Bench racing is just silly. In the right hands X sled can be fast. In the wrong hands it could be a Turd.

My guess is the Mach should beat the Apex. It's the same weight and makes 20 more HP. In the right hands it is probably the fastest production sled ever.

The average joe doesnt tune there sleds... They buy them and hop on and turn the key...(or pull the cord)

This thread started out STOCK VS. STOCK and thats the way it should stay..

If you start saying.. my clutched this beat this stock sled... well than your just throwing in more variables!

We arnt saying the MACH isnt the fastest sled out... We are more amazed that the apex can run with it , with the fact that the mach has 15-20 more HP (probobly pretty close in HP at the track im guessing)

The apex guys shouldnt be happy about beatin a mach.. but the doo guys should be pissed there sleds dont run better out of the box!

Welt, the Apex was stock and the Mach had a Dalton kit.

Went out riding last night and came upon a guy with a 340 Indy Lite so we lined them up. He got the holeshot (sorry, I was looking down at the awesome guage cluster when he took off), but I caught him and passed him so fast it sucked the hood right off his sled. Now he wants me to buy him a new hood because I sucked it off, I noticed my clock is off by 2 minutes in this awesome guage cluster, do you guys think I should adjust it???
