Anybody make extension for wire/plug to take the hood on and off would be awesome to have ability to take hood off and be able to work on sled while running and just easier to get on and off
Cat for sure does. Not sure if Yamaha sells it. Before either did I bought the guage harness but you have to remove key and guage from hood to use it. The extension is long enough you can set hood on floor.

Cat part # 1686-685, it's about $65 but handy as heck.
Gear Head.com has them for $53.82 with free shipping orders over $100. I got a Dayco XTX belt (8DN) for a spare for $84 to get it over $100.
