Well, my season is just about over even though the NEK of VT still has great snow cover, work issues. I posted a thread before and the response was to go with a new track, which is the plan. My sled has 16,485 miles on it. Everything is original except maintenance items like slides, wheels, carbides etc. I have replaced the bushings up front with oil lite and they are good. My question is what else should I do now. I am going to have a shop do the track, what about the bearings when the track is out? What about the shocks, can they be redone or are they throw aways, it's a standard 2011 apex? Anything else come to mind? Thanks

all berrings in drive and jack shaft shocks are fully rebuildable and should be done check all wheeles for berring wear. look over skid real well for cracks. check exhaust for tightness and maybe replace donuts while you are in there.

exhaust donuts were done with copper last summer. I replace the bearings yearly in the wheels.

16,500 miles is huge mileage on the original track, must not spin too much! While track is being done, probably best at that mileage to do the jackshaft & driveshaft bearings, all bearings in chaincase, seals & o rings ect...Ready for another 16,500 LOL

Why do you buy the cooper donuts for your apex?
