I got a price of a new STX DX 146" from my dealer... 15000 USD. Then I need to spend another 5300 USD on shocks, track and skis. The dealbraker for me is the extra fuel tank with the extra storage behind the seat.
Question is, is it better to buy some other Viper or maybe Sidewinder and get the fuel tank and storage installed on that?
Have anyone done such a thing?
I have test ride that sled and the skis, shocks and track was nothing for me. Everything else I like.

Öhlins, Elka or Fox. I'm thinking of the Ice Cobra 1.6 and some SLP skis.what track, shocks and skis are you getting for $5300? Depending what you want maybe myself or another vendor can do better for you.
