in ny if an intruder is in your home you can shoot to kill, if they fall out the doorway or a window youd better get the body back inside quick. if you just injure them and they get out of the house your in some trouble. hell i got arrested last year cause someone was trying to rob our tenants truck and i came out with my shotgun. go figure. cops took over an hour to get to my house. i only live 3 minutes away from the station. told them dont bother showing up next time ill just call for the meat wagon.
 
Sorry to hear about this Terry.Dealt with nieghbors house being robbed last year.Scared the heck out of my kids and me too.We all watch our neighbors places and never saw a thing.Guy is a bigtime hunter and owns two dogs along with all the neighbors and my dogs.So it took alot of balls to break in to his house.Not sure how they caught the guy but it turned out to be the neighbors Nephew and his buddies.No respect even for relation.They honestly could have been killed over this.And think how neighbor would have felt if that happened.Just makes no sense.No easy solution.But a good public beating or something does seem like a thing to try.

You know where I live and it isn't a bad part of town. I would expect this downtown or south of the mexican border (LOL) in Manitowoc, but not where I am.

Don, that is a good story from the old people!!!!

Wish I could keep things sitting outside, but this day and age I can't trust the stuff sitting outside,......hell, I have lockable gas caps on my vehicles....seriously!
