yes , we know thats valentines day and the long weekend...
as we all know the majority of grooming occurs mid week and the trails get progressively worse as the weekend goes. for this reasom , bounty and i are asking when most people would be interested in riding and available to ride.PLEASE vote.
there is an open menu breakfast available at the glenn howard or in any of lac du bonnets fine establishments.
both days rides will depart frrom the glenn howard inn at 9 a.m. each morning.
there will be a lead rider and bounty has already volunteered to ride catch - all at the end of the group.
ground rules -no drinking and driving
-know who is ahead of you and who is behind you and dont lose them.
-clean your carbs
tentatively
day 1
ride to nopoming lodge via bird river for lunch and return to lac du bonnet via pine falls for a pizza evening at the glenn howard.
day 2
loop the whiteshell stopping at the white lake resort for lunch before returning to lac du bonnet.
this would mark the end of the organized ty ride and people can resort to their own means for the remainder of the long weekend.
at this time we are looking at a single group ride each day.if the group gets too large we will be looking for volunteers to lead and catch-up a second group.
the more firm commitments we get the more we will be able for all to play safe and have fun.
i am also waiting to here from powerhouse yamaha about their demo-days, hopefully that weekend . i am sure lots would be interested in test driving the much anticipated , rumoured and semi-leaked but not photographed heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who knows a friend that has a friend who designed the brand new 2014 yamacatpodoo nypexervipernom with (wait for it) brand new graphics.
its gonna be great !

One should call Nopoming lodge before committing to going there. They sometimes ration out fuel and Pine Falls is a long way to go on half a tank.

shall do stiener...going to check in all around both loops .powerhouse yamaha emailed me back and the yamaha power tour is there that weekend . not sure about thursday and friday, waiting to hear back from them.

the yamaha power tour will be in lac du bonnet on sunday only...l."and yes , many changes will be available in the 2014 season" . I guess any body interested has some incentive to stretch out their weekend.
Cool would be nice to see and ride the changes first hand.

Acually I was hoping for Sat, Sunday. Not sure what my guys are doing. Might be sledding Mon to Fri. Damn I'd hate to miss a TY Man!

cherry 08 contacted yamaha in selkirk and they have the power tour there on friday...my thinking is becuase of the limited hours offered it may cut into the ride time to much, and the feed back at this piont is hit the trails while they are nice and ride.
