Manual Boost adjustment problem.

I recently installed a turbosmart boost tee into my 190mcx nytro. I installed it with new lines and mounted it on the back of the sled. Once I had it together I pressure tested the system. I was only able to get a 5psi pressure test. So now that I had it installed I set it to the lowest position on the turbo smart and went and tested. I then found I was boosting high. When I first punched it, it would boost up to 8-9 pounds, then it would come down to about 7 when I kept holding the throttle to the bars. But if I would left off for a second then hit it again it would only reach 5psi. I tried turning down my wastegate setting but I was as far out on the push rod threads as possible and the boost tee was closed off. So if I clicked the tee up a notch it would over boost even higher at initial throttle but then settle to 6-7pounds after letting off and hitting it again.
I rode by buddies and itdid not seem to over boost like mine at first throttle application. It also seemed to boost quicker.
Any ideas??

Pull apart the boost controler and remove the spring but leave the ball. This will stop your boost spike.

Actually I can't remember if u remove them both (spring and ball) or leave in just the ball. But this took away my boost spikes with the same controller.

Ok so you can just take off the knob and pull them out the end? Doesnt the controller just add tension to the spring and ball for higher boost, so removing it would just be like bypassing the controller?

remove one of the two hose fittings, only one side comes off and the ball and spring is in there. just try it, it takes two minuites.

Would you happen to know if its normal to have air come out the boost tee, The two small ports. just above the fittings?
When i was pressure testing I got bubbles coming from these little holes. I thought this wasn't right becasue it would be leaking off my air charge and not opening the gate as fast.

You can see the port in the picture you sent me. Its just above the fitting on the way out of the tee.

I also found a link to a video explaining the installation of the tee, it explains that for some sensitive systems the ball and spring should be removed for boost spikes! Thanks DooAssassin.
