So called in sick with a couple buddies and got to ride some freshly groomed trails. The groomer did its last pass before it was put away for the season the night before. The trail is from lake wanipitae towards shining tree, then went over to ault rieki lodge in gowganda for lunch and then back home. 230 miles of prestine trails with little to no traffic. Found the remains of a ski doo 4 stroke on the side of the trail and had to bug my buddy because his skidoo 1200 was giving him problems so I kept handing him a lighter and told him I'd give him a ride back if he torched it.

Sweet, we rode from New Liskeard and had lunch there on the 28th. They mentioned there was a groups that run up from Sudbury. We got lucky and ran some pretty good trails for that time of the year. I have ran the Sudbury trails before. What is it like to go all the way to Shining Tree, what type of trail?
