I have a 2012 venture gt and went through the original sliders in 400kms so I installed duponts and put on ice scratchers, just wondering if i should put on the marginal wheel kit thanks.

Loosen the track! Yamaha spec is way too tight! If you have extrovert drivers (not sure if the Venture's have them) you can run the track even looser. If you have studs you likely can't run it too loose otherwise the studs may hit the front cooler if your sled has one.

I installed the marginal wheel kit on my 2010 Vector. I didn't get any slider wear improvement until the next year when I installed the Duponts. I wasted my money on the marginal wheel kit. The Duponts work great!!

X2, I have mine track fairly loose, an inch to around an inch and a 1/4+ and get no ratcheting even without running extroverts.4strokeluvr111 said:Loosen the track! Yamaha spec is way too tight!
