The MARGINAL kit from YAM is a direct bolt on no drilling if we're talking about the same thing here's the post I had...

The marginal kit you are talking about has the brackets and fits 06-07 Attak,08-09 Apex ltx.According to the accessories book.
The one I have is the one you need to drill a hole and has no brackets.
Fits all 97 and newer models except 06-07 Attak.
Part # SMA-8FA95-00-00 and is pictured on p 48 of the 2009 accessories book.
Since yours is supposed to be for a LTX or Attak would that wheel kit fit
the FX Nytro rails in the back where it needs the wheels?
Your rails are different than a 121 Nytros.
The kit might work in the back of the Nytro rail but there is only 1 small hole to bolt to and then the other holes toward the back are the elongated ones.As seen here.

The Ltx kit brackets look to have a few different mounting holes for placement somewhere on the rear rail of both the bracket and wheel mount.
A Ltx kit might not work on the Nytros front?
The front rails bend to much for a bracket to fit using the stock holes.
I have the 08 Nytro RTX.

help from a rubber hammer.Real tight on the rail curve. This is if you want to put it in the front empty hole that is already there in the rail.
Even then the hole in the mount and the one in the rail don't line up so you would need to drill/file the rail hole to make it line up.
Same thing for the rear. The marginal wheel mount hole doesn't line up
with the lower first empty hole in the rail a bit behind the last middle wheel.Drilling a new hole makes for alot of holes on the rail back there.
At least thats how the mounts that I had on on my Apex seem to line up.
I think they are the same ones.
Bearings are replacable.Mine were shot when I checked them.Had 2000 miles on them and they were at the rail bend on my Apex.
Getting a set of the inner wheels with bolts and mounts seems like a good but expensive idea.(order 2 sets of needed parts for rear use).
Seems to fit better on the rail and without modding or drilling another hole out.
I am running into the same issue with mounting block hole and the hole in the rail not lining up! Anyone else have this issue? How did you resolve? Drill/file out the rail hole?

I have to drill new holes in front and back. One new hole per side in the rear for bolts on top. In the front I have to drill two new holes(top and bottom) per side. Can't utilize the holes that are there with the hardware I have.
Here is the spacer.
Pic of wheel in Rear(Drill hole in top). I will post pics in my thread when completely finished.
To Avid Products. Ordered wheels on Nov 26 and picked them up today at post office Nov 3. Fast ship to Canada.Nytro RTX Guy

OK, I got mine on but had to elongate the front holes with the drill bit to get it to fit. It worked but was a real pain in the rear. Too bad it is not a direct bolt on....OH well.

Did you use the kit from Yamaha? Let's see a pic.
