Mcexpress rear mount on 05 rx-1 bought the 19t turbo have pistons and head shim just wondering if I run c-16 fuel at 3000ft how much boost can I get away with without bigger rods and stock head studs Thanks

Where are you located, please fill in location in your profile :-)

You can run up to 18 lbs and still be in the efficiency island, after 22 lbs the turbo will start to make too much heat that will destroy your engine no matter the octane of your race fuel.

I would say 18-20 lbs is safe in your config running C-16 at 3000 ft.

Pushing the 19T past 20 I would run a meth injection kit to control conbustion chamber temperatures and to eliminate detonation.

I'm in Burns Lake British Colombia, Canada. I ran 20 pounds boost last year with c-12 with no problems I figured I can run up to 26 with c-16 but please tell me if I'm wrong, open too sugestions thanks

In 500 ft you can probably get away with it at 20 lbs, but I don't think the 19T is any good pushed past 20 lbs, and past 22 you are creating a lot of heat as the turbo falls out of the efficiency island spinning the impeller at very high rpms , just my 2 cents worth :-)

With the stock rods, not much past 350 HP before you need to change rods, depends on compression level. Stock compression 350 HP max, low compression it may survive at 400 HP, but I would not recommend it tho. My self I would not run past 350 HP at 9.13:1 compression without changing out the stock rods.
