2009 Phazer MTX
I’d stick with the 17t, it will run out of clutch at around 80-82mph GPS which is about all the Phazer is good for under normal trail conditions. If you spend a lot of time above 70mph then a 18t would keep you out of overdrive longer and allow 85-86mph gps which takes a LONG pull with good conditions. The Belt heats up quickly in OD. 20T will allow 92-94 gps which even a max bolt-on Phazer would have trouble hitting on an ice road, with a tail wind.K I got both 18 and 19 just not sure what one 2 put on because the phazer gts come with a 20 on them and I no my 17 is to small

100mph would probably need the 20t but it will take forever to get there. Unless you are increasing the horsepower...?Yea I'm gonna start with the 18t I just ordered clutch kit and sent clutch and helix out to get machined for more top end my goal is I wanna it 100 mph on the phazer lol

Stock secondary or V-max/modern secondary?Bolt on upgrade if you get really lucky and find one off a 95-96 Vmax. Best “bang for the buck” mod I did since I grabbed one off eBay for 75$ Trailing arm Chassis ones also work but require a bit of machining. This allows you play with different overdrive helix angles and adjust back shift a lot easier!Yea I'm gonna start with the 18t I just ordered clutch kit and sent clutch and helix out to get machined for more top end my goal is I wanna it 100 mph on the phazer lol
