Big thanks to my friends @ MCX.... Erik, Alf, Roland, Anders, Jon, and Marcus.........these guys came to the Big Iron Shoot Out in Revelstoke,B.C. mid march and we had a great time, riding some of the best Powder they had been in just prior to the event, a few cocktails at night, and some great views on Race day. :jump:
The special parts your supplied were just what I needed to complete this project. :-o
3K large turbo onto a unique header, straight exhaust I made directly off the turbo, Platic welded tank to 31 litres, right side intercooler for direct charge tube off turbo, mapping for large boost. and a beautifull Mountain Mod seat with huge trunk. ;)!
Working on the mapping now as turbo placement has a huge effect on mapping difference compared to the same mapping on my rear mount. A lot leaner from what I am finding. It is rideable and able to run to 15 now with the same clutching I had on the rear mount to 17 lbs. So I think we are making progress. Will develop it more over the sumer with a complete chasis, skid, paint work, and internals in the motor. :nos ;)!
Rode the sled with Team Thunderstruck last week while we were shooting for Thunderstuck 5 due out Mid august...........it took me up 10 chutes without issue  .......except the sideswipe of a small tree uphill in a medium chute :pics:
The reason I wanted something like this.........the weight off the back of the sled for climbing nasty crap........but the heat, small tank and header issues are annoying. :o|

A few pics attached of the sled.......and a couple from TS5 courtesy www.bigskyx.com

Thanks again MCX   :4STroke: :flag:

Tons of pictures here...........have a look......the first one is Brad Story on my sled.......I loaned it to him for a couple pulls. Brad runs a Boondcker kit on full propane.........crazy fast as he develops it in to the next stratosphere........The guy is a magician on the sled and in the shop. ;)!

Randy, would that turbo be equal to a gt28rs or is it bigger.

Ya when i saw those pics on Snowest i knew you had something going.Thought it might have been just the Mcx intercooler on a different kit.So is this kit going to be available to all or is it totally custom?

Erik has little interest in building the complete kit as it takes away from the huge production he has on standard kits. Headers and fuel tanks are a PIA to build.
I suppose it could be built as parts only and make some yourself......that is basically what I did..........and the develpoment has taken lots of time to figure out especially the mapping!!! :o| :o|
I have had the sled completely apart more in the past few weeks than any other 4 stroke sled ever..........now I know what all these Turbo builders go through developing their own kits.......kudos to them ;)!

Good to meet you in whistler.............I was just tuning this thing up but it was coming along fine. :ORC
I'm heading back for one more trip this year.........hope we can hook up.
