I'm just getting ready to install an MCX rear mount kit in my vector and was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks that may not be covered in the instructions. The sled is mostly stripped, the motor is still in it. For guys who have installed this kit. Are the instructions fairly clear, did you find anything missed or left out? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

If the fuel hose is that Gates 10mm "multi fuel" stuff, you might want to use something else instead, I had leaks and some of the kits came with that hose....it grows when you fill it with gas...feels mushy. If you only recently got your kit , it probably doesn't come with that garbage anymore. I pulled my motor, a little easier to work on, you don't want to rip the gasket on thre end cover, my kit didn't come with a new one. Take your time.

intall tips

take your time.!

oh ya anything that uses zip ties to tighten hoses. go get fuel injection clamps to fit.

make sure all the hoses have no serious bends in them that could kink and block flow. Ex- fuel, vacume, breathers,
