My 2011 Apex eps MCX HAS 9989 KM ON IT FLAWLESS !

I run 8 lbs on premium pump gas for the trail, only 5 lbs if i can only get regular pump gas.

I run 14 lbs 295 hp if needed to blast someone also with head shim on pump premium gas.

No issues , MCX FUEL BOX !! run it as shipped.

What are you using to adjust your boost ?
Mine has a turbo smart controller

On the Gen2 to Gen4 boxes you are able to program the Box using MCX Display Box. On Gen5 you can Connect the computer directly to the Box using a USB cable to Your computer.
The Tuning software is MegaTune.

Gen 2 Box.

It doesn't have an Interface to the MCX Display Unit but it is programmable. To adjust the Gen 2 Box you need to make a wire harness from the Gen 2 Connector plug to the MCX Display unit, been there done that. A lot of work but can be done.

So how do I tell if I got the 260 kit
Or the 310 kit ?
And what is the difference between the two ?

The 310 kit came With external fuel pump.
Depending on year of turbokit; the 310 kits use the Mitsubishi 19T turbo while the 260 is always a 16T turbo.
The boost and fuel maps.

But the turbo I'am not sure
Is the # on the turbo housing somewhere ?

New to turbos but new to 4 strokes & yamaha's

Your turbokit is the 07 Version for the Apex.
Then You have a 16T turbo.
The Gen 2 Box came With the 07 turbo kits.
The number is on the turbo.

So do I have the 260 or 310 ?
I'll see if I can see the # on the turbo
When I get a chance
I read somewhere that there is a upgrade
From 260 to 310

So from what i have understood
No matter what kit I got I should
Be safe to 12 lbs on pump gas ?

Yes your safe at 12lb.
I have the same set up and it came with no external fuel pump and was 260hp
But I sent my box to MCX and got it remap for 310HP and installed a external MSD fuel pump
now I'm running it at 14lb on pump gaz.

You have the 310 kit if you have the external fuel pump and Your boost Level is around 16-17 lbs.
Power output is 310 HP at that boost Level.
14 lbs is 280-290 HP.

I have a Manual boost controller and I keep it at 14 psi,its good for trailing.
