MCXpress USA 2015 Viper MTX 190 Hp Turbo Build
MCXpress has built this Turbocharger Kit so that it looks like is came from the Yamaha Factory .
It is very easy to install and runs on Pump Fuel
Unlike one of the other major brand kits, you do not have to remove the coolant or oil lines ,( No Mess)
The air/oil separator and the Thermostat Housing stays in the stock location
You do not have to reroute any wiring harness or remove any of the steering supports.
The plenum has lots of clearance so the hood does not need to cut The Seat does not even have to be removed.
We did install a optional Deep Snow Intake that required cutting the hood to bring large amounts of cool air in.

I have noticed that the plenum is erode the steeringcolumn while driving, the plenum is a littlebit to tight around the steeringcolumn. But all the rest in this kit has a good fit. I had just a problem with my, the T-conection under the oilpressuregauge, I couldnt make it stop leaking. But i hop i have fixed the problem now

I have a friend who just picked up a new Viper with a MCxpress 190 kit and they cut his side panel and put in a black louvered vent. Really looks out of place on the sled. They did not have a heat shield blanket like you have in the pictures free hanging. I foil taped the inside panel to help stop some of the heat from melting his panel which it had already did a little bit. I like this install better and keeps the panel in one piece. I am assuming the black vent came with the kit and for $5000 it looks really cheesy for that kind of money. Maybe this is something the dealer is doing on it's own.

The vent your talking about does come with the kits. This vent was improved from last season and is to help get the turbo heat out
I must be like you and do not like to cut up the side panel and change from the stock look. In my testing with the 190 kit last season I did not use the MCX vent.I did cut out the louvered OEM vent above the Turbo to remove the heat and only saw one very small spot of melting. We all ride different and other condition could be different and cause more heat. I let the customer decide to install the vent or not to install.I will have alot more sleds on the snow this season and will monitor how each works
The MCX kits work great and some customers like the way the vent looks

If your leaking oil out of the tee something is not installed correctly . If not corrected engine could fail.

A turbo blanket and some header wrap would probably solve a lot of the heat problems. The mechanic told him not to let the sled idle for a long time and maybe trim some more plastic. I have some thicker tape coming for my install and if I have any left I will install it on his viper in the hottest spots. The other vents I seen looked like they were aluminum frame with frogskinz or flo rite material. Those look a lot better then what they offer this year.

LOL I had the same problem with the tee conection . It turns out that the pipe tread on the assending unit is metric pipe tread or BSP and the tee I used was NPT no big deal I just chased a BSP die over my 1/8 run on Tee and cut a couple of treads off the assending unit . BSP is a bit smaller od than NPT but the treads are real frickin close
