thinking about trying a Meth Kit this year for my Nytro XTX with a 2860 turbo, stock compression at sea level. I currently run 8 lbs, 93 oct with lucas oct boost. Switching to meth, what boost will I be able to safely run, 10 - 12?
RxRider, I know you have ran meth for many years, looking for guidance..
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Call Dave at hurricane performance. He's got the meth kits perfected.

Thanks, I purchased a snow performance kit, same as Dave uses with additional spray nozzels for each cylinder (Nytro). Will add bungs in the intercooler, initial set up for 12lbs, additional weight to tips, change gearing to 24-39 and start from there.
Thoughts welcomed..
Thanks,
KI
I run 12 lbs. At sea level with pump gas and meth, works pretty good. I do have a head shin to keep safe though. No problem with this set up at all, good luck with yours.
What are you planning on for fuel? The meth will help but being that the stock fuel system is barely good for 9 pounds. I would think that you could get 10 out of it. 12 pounds is a lot of cylinder pressure with stock compression. I wouldn't run 12 pounds on a stock engine I want to last long.

I have a aux fuel rail which will supply fuel up to 20+ lbs.
