Michigan Dealer Recommendations

I want to order a Sidewinder l-tx-le and I live in the Detroit area. I currently have a 2004 Warrior which I bought new. I have not been real happy with two of the local dealerships I have dealt with and would like to find a really good dealer who can provide good customer service and who will be there if/when I need them. Would like dealer to be south of Traverse City but happy to travel as may be necessary for a good dealer.

I would appreciate any input as to dealers and sales persons to talk with. Thanks for your input.

When my brother "snow checked" his 2015 Viper, he ended up buying it from "Lakes and Trails" in Kalkaska, MI. They had the best price around.

Call Randy at T&R and I am willing to bet you never use another Yamaha dealer again. They are great guys that love the sport also. The Mechanics personal sled happens to be a Viper also, what's that tell you?

Pats Yamaha in Greenland if you want fair and honest along with expert knowledge. There's a reason Kip was among the select few dealers in the preview of the new Sidewinder, he is also an enthusiast.

My dealer is on US 27 just north of St. Johns. Pretty handy for stopping in on the way up north. They have a great service dept.

I've bought 8 new sleds from him since my 02 Viper. All service done there too. 200 miles from where I live and worth the drive. Located in N. Central U.P. Where else do you want to ride anyway.

I agree, bought my old Grizz 660 there years ago and he put up with a very fussy customer (me). Bought it in 02 and he actually pulled one off the shelf and had it assembled for me cause I wanted one with the later vin after the updates. He stuck to his quote and didn't bat an eye at my request. Then when they had the recall for all the overheating gas tank stuff he let me just pick up a box of all the updated stuff to install myself cause it was a pain for me to get the quad to him (didn't have a truck or trailer at the time). Awesome guy, everyone I know that wants Yamaha goes there instead of the much bigger places in IR and Gaylord.
