Midwest snow report

It won’t matter if the hyper crowd gets there itch scratched early with no base or ice under the new snow.. Its been like that every year.. Those of us that have been in the sport for 30, 40, 50 years with a half a brain has the patience to wait just a little while until there is somewhat of a base and conditions that won’t destroy our equipment.. I want it and I want it now crowd are those same customers that have kept these dealerships operating so thats not a bad thing.. So whatever floats your boat…
Well said!! Agree 110%

170 miles yesterday, in that crap. I'm stoked for them!!
40° temps coming back to the UP.....ugh!
Honestly a LITTLE rain/warm up followed immediately by wet snow would be perfect! Lake effect is not great for building a base.

Yeah, I didn't consider that. Looks like another good snow event coming in tomorrow into Thursday.

Yeppers, it's time to get the gear packed! Lol.
The groomers in the UP are doing a fantastic job setting things up.

Good start hopefully it continues
Yes I have been trying to stay optimistic. Sure seems like when we get slammed early we have a rain storm or major melt down. Fingers crossed this will be the year we can actually ride on good trails for Christmas in the UP!! Nothing better then a ride the day before Christmas. Very few out on trails and just great for a first ride and some Christmas cheer with locals.

Well plenty of cold weather here in Tomahawk. Checked the ice yesterday only 6". About 2" in the grass and 3-4" on my woods trail. Groomer was out on the way to work cutting brush on the Hiawatha Trail. Interesting...tracked New Holland with a front mount batwing rotary mower. NICE!

Bearskin has been packed once as well. Let's start by getting everything froze tight this year before any big dumps.

Well....for some good news. We have a clipper coming thru. 5-10" slatted for Wis. With the base they already have, shouldn't be too much longer.

Good snow today southern half of MN! Still snowing, more coming.
This is perfect!
Where are you hearing 5-10"? I'm all for it, but 3-6" forecasted for N WI
YouTuber claims 5-10" thru out. Looked like central. I'll get another peek at it. And post it up. SOB better not have lied to me!! Lol. I'm supposed to get three here in Northern Illinois.
