I was riding on sunday and we stopped and noticed the a-arms on my pahzer were just about level - started checking air pressures and noticed the right float had about 20 lbs and the left still had 60 - pumped them up and noticed a difference - rode the rest of the day and have not checked, but i suspect a leak - i have the fett canisters on my shocks, so i want to put some teflon tape on the threads before i take the shock to the dealer for replacement - anyone object to me using a little teflon tape on the threads to rule that out prior to the shock replacements? i only have 700 miles on the sled and the dealer is okay with replacing the shock -

700 miles is warranty - dealer already agreed to replace. just wondering if i'm leaking due to the FB canisters. he's seen a couple (not a lot) of fox floats not holding air from the factory.

I was helping a guy out just last week on his floats. The schrader valve was leaking.Check it.Takes 5 minutes to replace the core.

cannister was loose - i touched it and it leaked air - finger tight doesnt work - it's tight now

do you know where I can get a re-build kit for the floats ??? the fox website say they are out of stock at 30 bucks. any ideas ???

i'm up to 70 lbs in my floats with the canisters - these absolutely make the floats more trail friendly - i might be able to go to 75 lbs to decrease whats left of the body roll in the corners - i'm able to enter right hand corners 2 ski widths more to the center and come back - to the right side without the body roll - the simmons skis like a little sharper turning from the bars to plant the left hand inside and the right hand outside wearbars to turn.
