I have a new to me '05 RX1. Wondering what mirrors anyone has installed. So far this year using a handlebar mirror, which works, but don't get heat where the strap is. I also want it to grab more in cornering. Tighten up springs on skis? Don't want to mess with limiter stap if not needed. I am using Woody's dual runners, 4".

I have 6" Woody Doolies and they work well, but a lot of people swear by Snowtrackers.

I have yamaha mirrors part # 8CR-W2628-00-00
They work really well. Tuck in behind the corners of the windshield.

make shure the a-arms are parallel to the ground 1st. next check the toe. should be toed out 1/4" at the front measuring from the carbide studs. if running stock skis, add 1/8-1/4" shim to the rear of the ski rubber if it has not been done already.
now comes the personal preference. I like steering so I would suck up the limiters 1/2" to keep the skis down. if it still pushes in the corners, it might be conditions or you need a more aggressive ski than stock. mountain skis are a cheap upgrade and they dig through and turn great.

Got the Kimpex mirrors on tonight. It took most of the evening. They didn't come with any instructions though. This is the set that is made for Yamaha and has a metal bar that mounts under the dash and goes from one side to the other. Now I want to put the bar end hooks on.
