does the pc3 & ign module come programmed from dyno jet or does Allen pre-program them

I program them to my specs. The PCIII & Ign module from Dynojet has no mapping in it.

Guys you may be able to buy these places cheaper than my price (package deal when you buy both of $655). I simply can't compete with larger distributors of Dynojet items because I do not distribute a large volume, I deal only with the Yamaha sled models. I also contacted Dynojet directly and was the pusher behind getting these things made originally. We are a small company, we simply won't be able to sell at the prices that larger distributors can, but I know who will know more about the mapping and specific application.

Well said Allen when you buy these aftermarket bolt ons it is a guessing game at best so thats why I bought everything off Ulmer racing because when there is a tech question or a problem Allen has no problem going out of his way helping you out, I know he has helped me out many times.

DITTO.

Ulmer's help is more than you could ever ask for.

You guys should try to get someone to share a map with you for a ZX14 bike!!! It's taboo! People call it 'intellectual' property!! Sheesh.
Be happy you have guys like Ulmer around!!!

To quote a PM I got on a bike forum last spring....
Ivan's map will work fine with your Hindles but there is a slight problem with the map. The map is free with a purchase of the PC3 so Ivan retains proprietary rights over the map. As a user of his map I agreed not to share it. Everyone who has Ivan's map has made the same agreement and I doubt anyone will share it as we are men of our word.

This is why I had to go out and learn my ZX14's mapping all myself even though I had experience with previous bikes I've owned...

Well said... I agree, I bought 90 percent (with the exception of my air lid)of my stuff through Allen and his service blows the door off anyone I have ever dealt with. Plus, his #*$&@ works.....

pc111

I purchased my pc111 from Allen because of the great service he gives and he has a map for you to run. Fuel moto does not have this. They are 80 miles from me and I bought from Allen, way out in No tree's dakota. LOL I suggest everyone do this!!!! You won't be sorry. Allen backs up what he sells, others don't or can't. Fuel moto are good guys, I bought my pc111 for my Harley from them , but they do not map a Yammi sled.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

I had a few people ask me what the LCD screen setup looks like. So here is some pictures....

On this sled I have a Wideband Commander installed as well. This, with the proper cable, lets me hook the Power Commander & Wideband Commander together and view Throttle Position, Air/Fuel Ratio, Fuel Change (amount of fuel added or removed at that throttle position & engine rpm), and Ignition Change (amount of timing added or removed at that throttle position & engine rpm).

I think if you and Aaron build the full exhaust that connects to the current Excell, put me down for one of those and the LCD screen for next year.

mod

I finally got around to the 23t gear last nite. Mike, I and a 12 pack and it was in. I have been slow to put the gear in as with the pc111 and igntion mod, the sled has been really fun to ride. Pulls like a mule. Well took a rip down my driveway, it's 1000 ft. of hardpack and ice and NO traction. LOL I've got a new track coming next week a 1" hacksaw, No it's not a predator or ice ripper but the price was right. lol
I'm going to put 96 down the middle or maybe 144? any suggestions guys? I do trail about 95% of the time. But it's the 5% thats way fun. LOL Any input would be cool

DUDE...i only run 96,but I like to radar.....most apexs jump me outa the hole but i quickly pass them all....and keep pulling......

what i did,was intended on 144....and after installing 96 I held the remaining in one hand, and felt there was alot of weight to be saved......and IMO after running 144 on previous sleds i dont feel there is a huge difference in traction from 96 to 144....but thats JMO.

keep us posted bud

RTX Dude... Run 96 1.325's in the Hacksaw and go from there. If you need to add more, then go to 120 and so on, up to 144. 1.175" studs won't cut it in the hacksaw, but they do give enough penetration in the predator and If I was going to run a 1", then I would get the predator track. I'm talking about Woody's studs, megabytes is what I would go with.

Freak...

I do agree with you on the 96 starting point(pretty much what I did) as i am fine with mine...and saving the weight.... and I do agree the predator is the best choice overal for 1 incher but i think DUDE got a special deal on the hack.....im wondering is it a 14 inch hack?.....

I must disagree with you on the 1.325s on a 1 inch track lug....especially a soft lug like hacksaw....IMO you are asking for trouble with too long of stud....i know several guys with the stock track and 1.325s that are scratching their undersides pretty bad....with a hack you are gonna tear something up badly.....also,IMO too long of stud simply bends over more on these soft style tracks, and also adds extra unwanted weight....you want 1.175 GDs here IMO.

I also dont like megabytes at all....far too fat of a shaft, and IMO the gold digger w/ 60 degree points cannot be beat....mine have over 5200 miles on them, and look amazing still....not one is bent and only 2 have lost their tip.....I know they cost more but they are the KING of studs IMO and every other stud ive used hasnt come close in longevity or penetration.

JMO guys.

Dan , the penetration on the hacksaw is not the same as the predator. To get the same predator using 1.175, you need to run 1.325. My buddies F1000 has 150 1.175 with a 1"Hacksaw and there is barely 3/8 on it with 1.175. To get close to 1/2 which is what you get with a predator and 1.175 you need to run the 1.325's to get the same penetration that you would get with a predator setup. Megs are better for snow IMO.

my 1" hacksaw with 168(some woodys & some powerpoints) 1.325 & 1.375 (both same lentgth).
I had 144 and found that even the extra 24 on the outside helped drags considerably.
also riveted some cat slides(with tabs table sawed off) to the protectors for the extra peace of mind.
she really digs good on everything but glare ice, and still does ok on that.

But I think I'm going to a coba or ice ripper. I'm doing more loose snow riding than did before.
the scratches on the tunnel brackets are there from when I had same studs in my ripsaw without the extra tunnel protection.
