I guess it all depends what you doing with it. Dan does alot of radar running and a 1" is the way to go for that.
I do alot of small sprint drags (10 percent of the time) no more than 1200-1300ft and trail riding and all on snow, so the Ripsaw works good for that. The only time I really see ice is in the Spring time.

I wanted to keep mine stock, but after reading this, the power commander and ignition module is looking good. Anyone running this with just the ripsaw track no studs?
