So can we buy a modified stock muffler with stock stamped shields already on it? If not who will be the first to do this Mod?

You can put your shield on all of the modified stock mufflers and Hurricanes new hi-flow replacement muffler which already comes with a stock looking shield.

I can't imagine anyone coming with the SSCC stamp on it unless they get it certified. That would be fraud and open up a huge lawsuit. No aftermarket company would ever stick their neck out on that one and take that chance.

Want the SSCC stamp on the shield you'll need to install the factory shield yourself, or run the stock muffler.

Makes sense, good point
This site Rocks so much knowledge...

Or buy a set of metal stamps and do it yourself.

TDs stock mod re uses the shields.

When buying the stk. muffler mod they just swap out your muffler for one that's already done .Do you need to keep your cover ,or does the one they send back already have the cover on the muffler ??

swap your muffler for one thats already made since Hurricane always has some ready to go so you dont wait when they receive your core :)

Pretty sure SanDale mods your core, so you should have the heat shield back with that one too. I can attest that the TD stock mod is a nice piece and sounds great. The sound clips in the Muffler dB test thread don't do it justice.

TD has some cores pre made. Turn around is quick and comes with factory Sheild .
