I know you can take the rear shock out, without removing the suspension.

I did a search and could not find the info.

What are the tricks to make it go smooth.

Putting my Hygear shock with add on reze in the sled...woohoo

You say your hygear shock so I'm assuming you no longer have an R.A. dial. If you do it's not that different you just have to unbolt or unhook it from the shock, it gets tight in there. To remove the shock start by pushing down on the rear of the skid then slowly releasing it so that some set in remains. Then unbolt the rear bolt on the transfer rod. Now lift the rear of the sled in the air, unbolt the shock and your good to go. Just basically reverse to install.

I will get a picture today

I had them add the 2 springs to make dual rate, and add a resevoir.

Kit is supposed to rock.

I will let you know.

If it works half a good as their setup does on my GT you'll LOVE IT! I have their dual rate springs on all shocks as well as revalve and Hi/Low valves on the fronts. They know their stuff!

The shocks off of my wifes 07 Phazer FX are there right now getting the treatment.

It does rock. Well worth it.

I undo the front limiter stap and just jack the rear end of the ground and remove RA cable and shock bolts...

A trick to remove and re-install the front limiter strap is to jack the up the rear high enough to get a 4" x 4" block of wood under the front portion of the suspension (limiter strap area) to get the tension of it and undo the 2 small bolts at the top, to install it back in just reverse proceedure.

I put that same set up in my Attak at the beginning of last year. Put 3000 miles on and it was well worth every penny. Great upgrade!!
I just lift the rear of the sled, unbolt the transfer rod and the shock will come right out and go back with no problem.

The kit really rock!!!

I had mine done last April, after two hundered miles the rebound is blown. I took shock out today and sent it back to HYGear. I just unbolted it and slipped it out. I hope it goes back as easy.

I dont know why it only lasted two hundered miles but I hope it last longer this time. Over the weekend I went to adjust rebound and it just turned without clicking? They told me it lost its nitrogen and needed to be rebuilt again?

Can anyone confirm this theory...its a good thing to know.

It was a hard desision for me, go the Pioneer way with a revalve $60+$110 spring total $170. OR spend and extra $200 (total $350) and get the duel rate spring and revalve from Hygear.....

I desided to save my cash and go with Bruce at Pioneer....I hope I didn't make a big mistake with NOT going with the duel rate spring.

PIONEER

WELL I AM 230 LBS AND PIONEER REVALVED MY GT SHOCK WITH THE NEXT LEVEL SPRING AND I AM 100% HAPPY. IT'S 10 X BETTER THAN THE STOCK SETUP WHICH MIGHT BE OK FOR A 185 LB RIDER.
