Hygear Suspension has developed a coil over solution for the Yamaha Apex and Vector chassis using the single shot rear suspension. The undersized stock 1.5 float shock is replaced with a much larger 2.0 Fox Coil platform that is built using Hygear Suspension’s custom Fox H1 build specifications. The shock features include large capacity damping control that is more suitable for single rear shock suspension applications. It offers spring preload and low-speed compression adjustment that provides reliable service for trail conditions. The shock kit comes with additional accessories needed for mounting that also helps improve suspension movement. Testing has proven there is a major difference in ride performance that feels much more comparable to the original Yamaha Mono shock applications. The suspension now utilizes full travel to help smooth out the small to medium size high-speed repetitive stutter bumps with improved bottoming resistance for larger moguls. - $949.99

What is the benefit of the different blocks and are they shorter or longer?

$1000.00 for a shock, getting to be a little stupid on prices. But i guess if yamaha can't make one that works ya gotta pay.

I may have to try this set up. If someone has this shock in the single shot skid please give some feedback.
