Monroe Cty WI, TY Ride - Feb. 2nd not Cancelled

Update 1/31/12 - Plan is to open some if not most of the trails in the County Saturday Feb. 2nd. Sorry for the confusion with being canceled or not but I honestly didn't think after a complete meltdown and rain Sunday that there would be a remote chance that we would have open trails. For all of those wishing to ride like my last post in the thread says, let me know and I can tour some people around for a ride this saturday. It's too bad we couldn't have kept the snow around that we had but with these cold temps and the snow we received, looks like we are going to ride.

Looks like we got enough to open trails as on 1/31 let me know if you'd like to ride!

Monroe County Ride is cancelled again this year!!!!

If you plan on coming please let me know. I will be setting up a lunch at some point throughout the ride for everyone so estimated head count would be great.

Hotel Information:
I was able to get some rooms at a discounted price set up through the Best Western In town.
Please call and set up a reservation by Jan. 15th.
The room rate will be $89.00 plus tax per night for Friday Feb. 1st and Saturday Feb. 2nd.
You need to tell them you are with the Totallyamaha Ride group. They have my contact information (Kyle Ostrem) if you have problems.
They will also let us cancel the rooms 3 days in advance (by Jan. 29th) if there isn't enough snow for the ride.

I would like to make the trip up there. I would like some ideas about Motels ( A Good one) I am 5 hours from Sparta wisc. according to map quest. I would want to ride both days! Keep me informed about this ride please!!

I'll be contacting a local best western and setting up a block of rooms for a discounted price. This is what they did for us last year. I'll be setting that up middle of december. Just stay tuned to this thread and you'll get this information when it becomes available. Think snow

Yes it is. Right on the trail actually. You won't even have to trailer anywhere from the hotel.
