A new Totallyamaha ride has been finalized!
January 28th in Sparta WI. We will be meeting at kwik trip on the corner of HWYs 16/71 (10219 State Highway 16, Sparta, WI) at 9 am and will try to hit the trails by 9:30 am. They do have a little parking there but if there is any overflow I have a large parking lot near by I can direct you towards. Just swing into Kwik trip in the morning and I can coordinate from there.
From there we will be heading towards Tomah/Oakdale area and down to Clifton. I have arranged to have lunch in Clifton at Rotton Bros. Bar & Grill. From there, depending on the snow we will ride towards Norwalk, to Cashton, and around through Melvina, Leon, Sparta area. If the trails are good we will maybe make a bigger loop than that. Just have to wait and see if there will be snow good enough for some newer trails. After the ride I have set up an AfterRide Party at a local Tavern, The Rite Spot. They will have food availible but we will work to have a venison feed or BBQs or something along those lines. They will offer a "safe ride home" to anyone within the County so you won't have to worry about driving.
I have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western in Sparta. It is located just off the trail and has good parking and access. It is about a mile from the meeting location in the morning. If you book a hotel room, tell them you are with the Totallyamaha Ride Group and you will get $30 off your stay. This will put you in a double queen sized bed room for $99. Please have your reservation in by January 10th. If we do not have enough snow for the ride there will be a no charge cancelation of the rooms AS LONG AS you call and cancel 24 hours before the date you have reserved. These room rates are availible for Friday January 27th and Saturday January 28th. There is also a little bar and pizza place within the hotel.

I also wanted to add if you think you will be attending please let me know even if it is tenitive because I would like to know so I can give an estimate for food and everything else we are trying to prepare. This is going to be a great ride... It is snowing here now and more in the forcast for this weekend!
