Have the new camo. mountain track. This thing is very big 162x16x2.5 and makes my old track 159x16x2 look like a trail track! It is hevy. My scale 63 lb. But more than worth it.

Do you have it on yet? If so - can you post pics of your drop brackets and other mods you had to do.

Thanks!

Yes i have instaled 2 both have Holz skids. These come with drop brackets that are 5/16 thick. No other mod neaded but cut of 1/4 inch lower chane case bolt and grind middel fin on heat exchanger. You will also need 3 inch pitch driver :wahl brothers:. You can get drop brackets from Mountain Performance. I don't have a way to post picturs yet.

Powder 1, What size of 3" pitch driver did you use? I'm thinking that you would have the 7T. Also, what sort of clearance did you end up with in the tightest spot and where is it? RX FUN

RX FUN yes used 7 tooth drivers. The tight spot about 1/4 inch is at the heat exchanger arround 1/2 inch to pipes and i did shim 1/8 at drop bracket to skid in back on both sides.

Is That Track Available a Little Shorter Like 156 159 ?

!62 16 inch sounds like you NEED a turbo to run it, not that thats bad
I wish I knew if you will loose much manouverability with these Wide tracks they Sound like A Great Idea but 162 seems like over kill.
How much do these HUGE tracks Cost?

Thanks for the info, I really want the 2.5" paddletrack but didn't know if it would clear. If I went with the 15" wide track then I wouldn't need the drop brackets correct?

Turbo Vector, That is correct. Only have to change the rear drop brackets if you're going with a 16" track. RX FUN

I didn't know there was a 2.5" track. Awesome. Whose is it and where do we get one?
I read a previous post that 7 tooth drivers are larger than 8 tooth; now I figured it out- 7 tooth 3.00" pitch would make them larger than a 8 tooth 2.52" pitch. mmmm...
Powder1 - what did you shim 1/8" at your drop brackets??

Hyerup, Powder1 put a 1/8" thick washer on the inside of the drop bracket between the drop bracket and the cross shaft. When you do this on both sides the drop brackets are an additional 1/4" apart from each other. The 2.5" tracks are made by Camoplast. Check out their website or go to TracksUSA.com RX FUN
