I just bought a new 2010 Fx Nytro SE and was wondering how far I am able to go on a tank of gas. Thanks.

100 miles is about all I could go on the stock tank. With the trail tank I never worried about running out of gas...everyone else was always worrying long before me.
I have ran out in 34 with my MTX, last two weekends burned 12 gal in 60 miles. I wish it wasnt true.
You must fix that fuel leak even if it takes the boost. Ouchrlcofmn said:I have ran out in 34 with my MTX, last two weekends burned 12 gal in 60 miles. I wish it wasnt true.

between 85 and 100 miles on the stock tank depending how hard you ride.

85 is a safe minimum, like the others have said it will do around 100.

Ran 96 miles on a tank this winter. I was about a half mile from gas station and engine cut out when I hammered throttle. I was standing up and leaning forward, almost went over the bars. Made it to gas station by going easy. The more miles on sled the better the fuel mileage got. Went from 14 miles to 18 miles per gallon riding on the same trails.

I once ran over 365 miles on a tank of gas with my Nytro. When I'm not pulling the trailer I can get about 420.

That's one way to keep your left foot dry and hands warm. I bet you even made the trip without overheating at all.
Arteeex's 1000th post

i have a trail tank and I'm getting 160 miles to a tank.
I went 107 miles one day a couple months ago and the warning light was on for about the last 10. I would say 110-115 or so would be the max.

My wife got 110 miles while riding groomed trails in Canada. Her low fuel light came on and she had about a gallon left in her tank. Around home she has pulled into the garage with her low fuel light on several times. This was right around 90-100 miles on the odometer. The Nytro and 1200 get very good mileage, just about the same. The limiting factor is the dumb small tank on the Nytro.
