MPG OR DISTANCE YOU CAN GO ON A TANK OF GAS WITH FX NYTRO

My wife got 110 miles while riding groomed trails in Canada. Her low fuel light came on and she had about a gallon left in her tank. Around home she has pulled into the garage with her low fuel light on several times. This was right around 90-100 miles on the odometer. The Nytro and 1200 get very good mileage, just about the same. The limiting factor is the dumb small tank on the Nytro.

I was finally hoping for your respone not referrring to how your Nytro compares to your amazing 1200..

The 1200 is an awesome sled. I don't know if I would call it amazing but you can if you want. ;)!

I would actually be quite content to be able to be confidently get 100 mpt
My riding group would NEVER be trying to get more than 80-85 miles without a plan to refill. I don't see that changing. Even if the sleds get much better mileage than they do now, we're ready for short stop by that time anyway. For the foreseeable future that range suits me fine.

I've gotten 110 miles with some left. I got my 08 FX at the end of the season. Put on 1100 miles and averaged 18 mpg. Got as high as 20mpg and as low as 16mpg.
My F1000, with 206hp dyno-ed only gets 8mpg, and then there was the oil. What cost me $65.00 a fill-up (88 miles) now cost me $16.00 a fill-up and I go further (100 miles).
Very Happy with it.

Mine has ben alot better the last two rides, Up to 60 miles on 11 gallons last weekend and 70 today on 10 but I still dont buy into sombody with my riding style pulling anywhere near 80 let alone 100 on a stock tank. The more I ride it the more I love my Nytro though no mater the fuel usage. Im just glad my tunnel is tough enough and seat is short enough that I can run with a 5 gallon can on back no problem.

My wife gets about 17 m/g (imperial gallon) on her nytro xtx or about 100 miles. It really depends on the conditions we ride in.

116 miles is the best I've got and 90 miles is the worst. I have the gas caddies so I was able to run my XTX almost dry to test range. Conditions make a big difference with my XTX...wet heavy snow on an ungroomed trail=90 miles...hard cold groomed trail=116 miles. This is driving the sled hard.

I think this says it all
