MPI Supercharger

Have not went for it yet but i would guess with my set up 125-130mph??

I would not trust a stocker for 20 miles....

Set up right you can hold them long enuff to win a race or lose one!! HAHAH

1/4 mile bursts at wot 5 psi boost on pump "premeum" with stock internals is safe but i wouldnt recomend holding it wot for long stretches making easily 50 hp more than stock could possibly cause a over temp issue

I'm guessing he was spose to say 2 miles?? I would not want to be on a boosted sled for 20miles! (unless it was a bravo lol) Even if the engine would hold up to it at those speeds the smallest bump can be disaster. Most people don't understand what its like to drive a boosted sled... i have not seen the conditions good enough to hold mine wot for 1 mile.

no kidding !!! held mine on the bar for close to a mile on a fresh groomed trail. shut her down cause i couldnt feel my fingers or my face for that matter! any more. at 10 plus lbs of boost 1 mile is a very short distance and things come upon you way too fast to make any rational decisions. man! boost is fun!!!! :jump:

i havent changed mine yet it is more difficult but i can get my hand on it, just have to be more creative, ive had to work in tighter areas than that

We run a lake by ours that is around 15 miles across, last year myself and a buddy on his Apex ran across it to the bar the whole way at least half dozen times....... now with the SC on mine will I be able to run the length of it at 100-110 ??? or will I have issues with that???

I think you will find you will be doing 120ish with the flipper halfway down. Holding it to the bar for that long will put you at speeds of 150-160mph on the dream meter which is fun in short bursts but unrealistic to go 15 miles like that.

I have been running 10 psi on pump fuel with 3 stacked gaskets for over 1500 miles. I had tuning troubles at the beginning but I got them sorted out and she runs fantastic. I added a Vortech valve and connected my IAC hoses to the intercooler. Gas milage is as good as any stock 1000 two stroke I ride with when not crazy with the flipper. Make sure you get the clutching worked out too. I use Ulmer's cluch kit. I am very happy now.

Curious what your tuning issues were. I have yet to get mine to idle correctly.

ya I wasn't talking about holding it to the bar for the 15 miles what I meant was can I run it at 100-110 to stay with my buddy on his Apex for that length of time with an SC installed??? I reralize I will be far from the bar. THX
