Matt, where are you?
Any plans to do a massive tunnel cooler kit/radiator delete kit for the Viper?
Especialy the xtx.
Been riding in powder 2 days now with a wet #*$&@. No wonder they offer a heated seat.
First day of breaking trail in 20" snow, the backside of my windshield glazed over from all the melt steam.
Was thinking past 2 days how nice a massive tunnel cooler and no radiator would be!
More $$$ in the pit

Pull the hood and reverse the radiator connector so the fan blows air out instead of in. Did that to our red Viper and no more steam. My blue Viper has radiator delete and of course no steam but if you are boosted radiator delete might not work.

Stringray, I understand your theory with reversing the wires to pull out the steam but when I am riding in deeper powder the sled stays cool just from the heat exchanger and the fan never seams to be on. I only see the fan on sometimes when I stop and idle . So do you have it wired on all the time?

Not wired all the time, but when it does come on it blows the snow out of the radiator and no more ice/snow packing the inlet. So I thought ours only came on when sitting but it must come on some as we no longer see steam. Riding areas may matter try it and see what your testing shows. Don't like it simply turn connector 180 degrees and put it back.

I doubt its going to work, most of my steam seams to come out right above exhaust...im guessing snow contacts/cools the exhaust

Could be, but before we modded the red Viper when stopped the radiator would come on and most of the steam came out top and the muffler side. Might not help you but it did ours.

I get it both spots. I don't like a open tunnel.
