msd fuel pump problems

anyone heard of problems with msd fuel pumps? lost fuel pressure last weekend thought i was out of gas added fuel about 1.5 gal fuel still wouldnt start got towed back added another 5 gal and fired right up but now pump sounds like hell(pulsing grinding sound) any recommendations on fuel pumps (walbro, aeromotive, etc...)

I assume you have proper filtering in your fuel system ahead of the fuel pump. If so your fuel pump is dying on you, that can happen. Have you ever run your pump without fuel so it runs dry, it will surely kill it.

Check your fuel filter? If it is plugging off it will wreck the pump
