muffler mod

Hello all, I have a question about a muffler mod, Does someone do a muffler mod? One of the many vendors around? Reason I'm asking is that a buddy of mine has what looks to be a different muffler, sounds and looks different, his has a whole bunch of hole in the inner pipe if you look at it from the back. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Really? That's stock? Mine doesn't have the holes on the inside, Did Yamaha have other versions of mufflers? I don't think its a hauck unit, it has Yamaha marks and such on it. I don't have any pics. Thanks for the replies
