Thanks for all the advise/information everyone, it is much appreciated.
It looks like my wife has given the thumbs up to going. Her biggest issue is always the horses during the winter months. But she has it worked out.
I will ride at a fast pace for you guys, I just didn't know if it would hurt my track. It sure howls when I ride the roads for long stretches. I have scratchers installed.
I cant find my sway bar, but will buy a new one and re-install it if I have to. Will also bring extra hyfax's per your advise.
It looks to be a 28 hour drive. That should put us in Munising, Mi LATE Thursday/early Friday. I will be ready to ride Friday though!
Thanks again!

Awesome! You won't be dissapointed! Too bad you couldn't get more TY'ers or friends to come with you. We aren't brand biased and we let anyone ride. They all have skis, a track and an engine...we are snowmobilers and we help each other. That is what makes a TY ride awesome!
Buddah, your not old..... you can keep up with us
Gerry can ride also!

Backpacked in/out on snowmobile for a few Ty rides. Nice to put faces with names.
This riding is nothing. Many twisty turns, nothing major of trail. You both will have a good time.
My wife gave the green light to go, but she wants to stay home. Sadly, this hobby she really isn't into.
So, guess I will load up the 4 place and bring some buddies.

You say that like it's some sort of bummer or something?

I hear ya Family man. Lindsey is more into our dirt bikes and camping in the RV than sleds. I just hope its not going to be brutal cold (below zero) for the riding at Munising Michigan.
A few more questions. Does there happen to be cell reception out on the trails? Usual horse concerns for her as usual . . . . We have a mare that is due in late January.
And, IF I had to fly her into Marquette, is picking her up that big of a deal? Google maps says its not too far?
I really do appreciate your guys' input and help.

Cold temps are not the norm. Usually in the high teens to mid twenties. Cell service is spotty and is more dependent on who your carrier is. I've kept USCellular because it usually works. Marquette is around 45 min. from the hotel and is accessed by a state highway that is fairly well maintained.

Viper_Dave is pretty much right on the button.......temps are usually "moderate" with the exception that early mornings can sometimes be "chilly". Marquette is 44 miles from Munising.......that makes it about 47 from the hotel.......K.I. Sawyer (the airbase/commercial airport) is a little further because it is quite a way south of Marquette proper......roads are usually quite good regardless of snow.......only real issue could be MSP (state police) will close M-28 between Munising and Marquette if snow is so heavy or blowing as to obscure visibility along Lake Superior....IF that would happen there is an alternate route that might actually be less miles and is always well maintained also.

Berg 570, That is dedication to drive that far to a TY ride! My wife came from Seattle and I know how long of a drive that is across country from when I moved her back here. I only had to drive it one way, not turn around and go back again. LOL, You and your wife will have a GREAT time. Everyone I have met at these events are wonderful people and everyone will feel like family, after the first day. Everyone is so friendly and has a common bond of loving this sport. It is amazing how everyone meshes together so easily. The scenery is great, there are many great sights to enjoy and many places to go. Hoping to get up there and met you and say Hello! Dan
