called them today ....they havent had a chance to look at it ......... and there goes my vacation . I wanted to ride it all week but, not this time . so , I took the cover off ol bessy ....put her down on the pond .....shes still got it !!....I will keep you posted on what happened to the Vector.
Well, I picked it up today and it was reported back to me that the plastic runners were melted and the ski scaggs were completly gone . They replaced them both . ....gave me two used scaggs , because they didnt have any in stock (didnt charge me for that)....I thought it was weird they didnt have any to fit my sled......top of the coolant all for $172.00
I never thought to look at the skis because it only had 209 miles when I got it .....apparently the previous owner must have had it on the road abit to wear them out . So , lesson learned here is ......keep the runners cool as much as you can . And the dealer is very expensive ....only use them for warrenty purposes......
thanks for the recommendations on the ski scaggs , I will buy some in the off season . Right now the trails are very icey , bare ....kinda sucks...

My wife rides an 06 Vector GT. She bought it new in 07 as a leftover. There are a few musts with this sled. Loosen up the front ski shock springs to full loose then tighten one turn. Loosen the top shock adjustment full soft then turn them back four clicks. Adjust the transfer rod to take some weight off the front end. I went two turns. Shim and add a set of Stud Boy Deuce Bars to the stock skis. Add a rear heat exchanger. Add an extra set of small wheels and scratchers. Her sled has 7400 flawless miles on it and handles very good. When we bought it it puked a bunch of coolant on the ground first time on the trail. I was less then happy. Dealer told me not to worry about it, as this engine will find what level it likes. I refilled it anyways and it did it again. Left it alone and it has been fine. SWEET SX you have... I would love to have one of those...

thanks ..... the SX is a great sled.. if you do a search on google for 1993 yamaha exciter 2 sx the webshots web site is more pics of my sled , anyway you gave me some great advice on setup , however you lost me after adjusting the soft /hard lever clicks , im not too sure how to add more wheels either and another heat exchanger but i will research it ...might not do anything this season but in the future I might get brave...... and really screw it up ..LOL....:)
