- 2007 Yamaha apex gt
Bought a 2007 apex gt with 1600 miles on it this past spring from guy around here for $3800. Bought it for her daughter so was never beat. Not yet anyway. Took it apart because needed exhaust gaskets, come to find out yamaha didn't tighten the bolts that hold the y pipes which caused the gaskets to go so early. While I was doing all the work I thougjt I need to do something to make this sled look different. So I decided... A blackout... Not quite finished yet but a few parts bought from a totallyamahaer Iv almost got my finished product

I'll add in the new parts I have on it. Higher apex mtn riser, rox pivot riser, wrp seat, HID's, black bogie wheels, and hopefully soon to be orange led accent kits all the way around

I noticed your comment on yamaha not tightening the clamp bolts. The clamps only get so tight as they bottom out on the boss in the clamp. Clamps can be loose even if the bolt is tight. I take a file and file down the boss as needed so clamp tightens up.

oh the ones under the black covers that hold the y pipes? those are either rattled loose or so coroded in you cant get them out do yourself a favor and replac them with hex head bolts so you can get them out next time.
