i have a 06 apex and had the yamaha deale r put on a new team industries secondary, and do a bunch of work to my primary sled revs rigth where it should be 114 or 117 cant remember rigth of hand but the first day back my mph was around 122 now i can hardly touch 112 and snow was nice and hard packed. So if i got to the dealer and grab a new belt can i just put that on and do i have to shim or do anything else?? i can push my belt down between the 2 clutches about 2 inches.. And how many miles before i can ride hard with new belt?? thanks guys!

the belt should be .5mm above the secondary.

run 50 or so miles kinda easy for break-in. Some say less, some more.
