I use these in the forward hole as well. It's amazing how many folks had these and removed them, claiming it worked better. They stop the harsh bottoming when the "big ones" pop out of nowhere.

I run them in the middle hole. They don't touch, until that last couple inches of travel. I figured, running medium spring tension, should use the medium hole, for the stoppers. They drastically slow the travel, for the last few inches.

8ES-47429-00-00 roller, 90387-10025-00 insert, 90201-106F2-00 washers, 95817-10060-00 bolts, 95607-10200-00 nuts. I don't believe that make a kit. This is how I ordered mine.
