That's runs really good for 12 pounds. Who's kit are you using? Are you using NOS out of the hole? The reaon i ask is it has little to no lag!!!

Nice work!!!

Oh ya can we see some under hood pics?

No NOS, I am using Northeast turbos turbo kit with my special touches.
Turbo lag happens when turbos are not set up properly or they are too big.

I am switching fuels this weekend going to 104 Sunoco Unleaded GT Plus.
I will retune for 15 psi, just got in a bunch of clutch parts Supertips, Dalton spring and 3 Dalton Helixes.

Lots of questions for you Ted.....and I've got another one.
Are you going to spray some water/alcohol down the road?

I don't think so even though I use that alot in cars that I build for customers, I don't think I have a charge air problem at all my intercooler is cold after a run and that's good.

A lot of guys are running way more octain then that at that boost level. I know the Guys at LP ran 15 pounds on 105 VP red at 15 to 17 pounds with zero issues. Too much octain is just as bad as not enough.

Let us know how it goes this weekend

It's all in the Tune my friend.

Based on what I hear most guys are running for jetting they are way to lean.

Shoot, I had 170 mains with a modified air box and I am running 145 now with 12 psi and as I go up in boost it gets leaner so I have to go up in jet.

I will probably end up at 155 at 15 psi.

Lean breaks motors.

Wrong. Not enough octane breaks pistons apart. Too much octane might lose you 5 hp. I know what end of the spectrum that i am sticking towards..

Sorry to go off topic here, but Ted, are those other guys all running speed tracks with crazy studs like you? Are we comparing apples to apples? Or is it 'run what ya brung'??!!

All the sleds were set on KILL, Speed tracks, Chisels, big motors, clutched, for drag racing on ICE, Pipes, Reeds, Lightened up, you name it.

All these guys came for the crown, they have been talking about it since November on Hardcoresledder.com NH section.
