This one is THE mod to get rid of the icing:

It is a fair amount of work though.
Thanks for the endorsement ;)! A guy could do the extension plus the shield first and if that didn't work then put the wrap on as well (I didn't test the mod w/o the wrap but it might be worth a try). Yes, the temps do have a lot to do with the amount of ice that builds up for sure.

I had terrible ice build up today. Had to tip over my sled and take the back end of an axe to the ice to get my track moving. Still, despite my displeasure with all the ice, I can't really complain and this sled is likely the best thing out there for my needs.

Have to be careful tipping it over as you will lose oil into the airbox - I believe tipping on one side is worse but can't remember which - I'm thinking leftside?

I had a mishap the other day. The sled was tipped over on its left side on a hill. Stayed there for at least 5-10 minutes as we dug it out and then used a truck to flip it back over. Now I am noticing oil leaking out of the bottom of the sled.

Just called the dealer, he says it's my airbox filled with oil. He said to take it off and clean it out. Anyone out there ever do this before?

Yes, I have taken off the airbox several times for different reasons. Either here or on the Phazer section you should be able to find instructions and pictures. The procedure is not too difficult overall; just take your time and follow the step by step instructions.
