apex mountain crracing 174
apex blower 136 for asphalt racing
osp drag race sled (apex engine based)
Anyone could tell me into which class I could compete with this sled:
Rx1 blower with fuel injection and blower in an Apex esthetic.
With a fully clipped camoplast 136x15x0.525 track
Capable of running over 150mph.
I would like to know what class and what are requirements (security wise)
I would like to go there this weekend but need to insure they will accept the sled.

If that is not a speed track you will be in trail open class. If it is a speed track you will be in a pro class.

what defines a speed track vs non speed track?
This is the track I have on this sled:
www.camoplast.com/tracks/tracks/grass01.html
But reading the rules I don't think it would be in trail class.
I have the front suspension lowered about 4" and the rear about 2"
See the sled here:

That is a speed track. I was using the same track and they stuck me in the pro class.

I sure hope they don't enforce this.
rules
The rules read minimum of a .500 lug that track is .525lug so you should be able to run it !

Re: rules
However, the rules should read that if it is clearly a speed track, then it's in the Pro Classes!!
That Sir, is clearly a speed track!

I agree about it being a speedtrack.
I just wanted to be sure it was not only for the 'carpet style' track ot be considered as speed track.
