Just bought a slightly used 2011 phazer mtx for my son who will be legal to ride his own sled next winter.
Now with summer comming with plenty of time for mods, is there anything that needs to be fixed with these sleds?
He is only 60 kg/130 lbs, so hopefully the shocks will be ok for him?
Better boards?
Relocate instrument cluster?
Steering linkage bushings?

Opinions from the forum expertese is apreciated!

relocating cluster is as easy as flipping the oem one upside down. doing this will not allow you to use the windshield, without modifying the cluster bracket. upbushman stearing and spindle bushings are an absolute must. fourstrokesolutions roll over valve will keep oil where it belongs when flipped, while adding safety and piece of mind of not having a runaway sled if he fall off. the stock maverick track sucks, but you might as well run it til it falls apart haha. dont have to worry about shocks for his weight. ski's are your choice, i still have stock ski's on, someone with aftermarket ski's might have some better knowlege about ski's then me. if you do alot of trail riding ice scratchers should be used. they dont burn sliders too bad, but a lil lube never hurts, and they keep the engine cooler. add a-arm protectors and skid plate, gives a bit of floatation, and will protect your underbody and keep ice and snow from chipping the a-arms as bad.
