OK I couldn't make up this $hit if I wanted too. So I'm putting on the air box and decided to check inside the throttle body for cleanliness by opening the throttle blades and guess what I see, the spring from the headlight screw is sitting on top of one of the intake valves. I pull out my magnet and was able to retrieve it. The more remarkable thing was that the motor had been run while Porkchop got it back from the dealership. I also ran it for a while moving it off the truck and into the garage. The spring was just to big in diameter to make it past the valve. Eventually the spring would have broken up and destroyed the motor. When Porkchop's dealership had check out the sled after the end over somehow the spring had dropped into the motor when they removed the headlight and airbox. Thank God I found it!

My grandmother blessed me from above that day, guess she covered the sled too.
Good catch.
Riding it yet?
My Nytro is waiting for the title to come from PA still, can't reggy it in NY without I'm told by them-
No snow locally to even ride in the fields so there she sits, ready to go

Haven't rode it yet. Just finishing up putting the plastics on. I decided to use your blue plastics because I'm using the blue SLP skis. After I removed the NY tags from the side panels it took the shine off and I've been working to bring it back.
Hey, sell me that tail bag you have unless you have plans to put it on the Nitro?
If I were you I'd never let the dealer that dismantled the sled touch anything I owned. When I remove the air box on my sled or bikes the first thing I do is stuff paper towel down the bores.
Where's the best place to buy new carbides for those SLP skis? Will all SLP carbides fit?

They had masking tape over something when it was sitting there, might have happened when they put the airbox back in for me so it wouldn't throw any codes the night I picked it up?? IDK
That ski set up came on it, I switched 'em out to Curves about 2 weeks later so they sat up in the rafters of my garage till this season when I started having worse darting issues.
I put probally 500 total miles on them.
SLP says only their carbides will fit the SLTs??

It's ALIVE!
Just have to set the toe, check fluid levels and a once over. I'm actually scared to ride it. I've invested a pile of time into it and couldn't take another failure.

I like the silver arms and probably going to use Porkchop's front shocks which have matching silver springs. Porkchop's rear wheels are silver and they're going on because they are in better shape. Didn't realize the bumper colour was different but I like the silver rear better than the black.
I may go back to the navy blue. My plastics are in better shape bit I like the lighter colour blue better.
Some of the colour combinations that Yamaha came up with for the Phazer is baffling. Originally the sled had a kaki seat, dark blue plastic, yellow front bump, wheels and ski hoops then tan side panels.
