Need Advice on Whether I Should Buy an RX-1

i am looking at getting a another sled. would a yamaha rx1 be a good sled. i have one year exp. what do you guys reccomend. i ride arctic cst z570 esr. i ride trails 95% of the time. thanks art jr

Good sled.... the 03s, i think, had some ring issues....

also a good find would be an RS vector/rage/nytro. the 120 hp engine is a great ride, plenty of power and when clutched right will run with the rxs.

I had one for 3 years. Too heavy and too tippy. The suspension also needs alot of "tweeking".

First what is your sled now. The pro action can be quiet an upgrade over older suspensions. With a 13 mm sway bar the rx can handle as good as other sleds. If you are into long haul days, do what Blue said and look for a 3 holer. Maxdlx

rx1 are good sleds. all sleds have their flaws. it is the rider that determines wheather or not that they are acceptable to them.

i love my war but it does need more tweaking to make it right for me. front olins and 13mm sway bar should do the trick along with a set of ice scratchers and trailer hitch.

I still have my '03 and I'm going to keep it for a few more years. It rides very well, but it took some mods to make it ride with the best of them

Go and get it, reliability is second to none.
