Pick up my new candy red 2005 Rx1 thursday.After breakin period can anybody give me some advice on mods.What can i do so i get clutch topping out to the max.I ride with guys that just bought new revs.1 a 600sdi other a 800ho also ride with pol xc700.Always want to be upfront on the Lake.What mods can I do that wont take away any depenabilty.I will go with 96 studs up the middle 1.375 any advice would be great.

Here is some feedback from IBABAD1 after Blackjohn gave him this information on changing the primary spring and shimming the secondary with 5/16 lock washers in which I have done also
First, I did try the spring without the washers. Just the spring, the rpms
went up to 10500-10600 and held pretty good. The top end increased
to 110 area. With the washers added the rpm was the same but
the top end went to 118 area, and it did seem to pull better above 100.
I was pulling away from the F-7 in a major way above 110.
Second, I should explain to that I only use a RADAR GUN and SPEED
CHECK. The speedo is way off. I have seen 129 and 131 with this
set up on the speedometor. I use to see 112-115 before set up.
Secondary spring was set at 6-3. I think 6-1 would be better!

The spring for the primary is orange/silver/orange. Its the same one
that is on the RX- 1 Mountain.

anyone seen a 05warrior vs rx1 in a drag. my neighbor just picked his rx1 up to and he is talking up a storm. i havent replied and most likely wont until it snows, but what do ya think.

whats in the clutch now. spring and roller size and wights and are the secoundary helx and spring the same or some thing a little differnt. find this out first. as there was one change from 03 to 04 they may have a totaly new set up?

mONKER I thought your long track was equal too the other short tracks last season running across the lakes last year.RX1man was right with us last ride across the lake(sleeper) on the lakes had a fun time with those arctic cats.
