oil filter
You have to remove the air cleaner box ,ect if you have small hands youre golden if not go get the wife and have her get dirty (its her sled ) use some cardboard to contain any spilage . Good luck .

Not that it's for everyone, but I remove the front frame when I do my oil changes.
11 Bolts and the entire front suspension and steering come clean off the sled.

Airbox is removed with 3 allenhead screws. There is rubber plugs covering the holes they are accessed from.A T handle allenhead works great not sure if normal allen wrench is long enough.I use a big channel lock to get old filter off.

1) Get a service manual (cheap for a copy on ebay)
2) It describes how to: remove windshield, remove headlight, then the removal sequence for the airbox assembly, vacuum lines, etc. Also provides torque specs when reassembling. Don't forget the 3 allen bolts as was already mentioned. With the filter foam removed you can get to them from inside the airbox opening.
3) Unbolt oil cooler (circular unit directly above oil filter with hoses going to it), you may be able to fiddle around and get the filter out from beneath it without moving it but its only 4 bolts.
4) If you don't have a filter wrench to fit, carefully punch a whole in old filter with a screwdriver, then turn filter counterclockwise to loosen.
5) Clean up spilt oil.
6) Tighten any bolts in this area while you're in there...steering, etc. You're in this far, so you may as well.
7) Reverse the above process for new filter, add oil. Reassemble.
8) Clean hands, apply band-aids to bloody knuckles.
9) Wish for snow.
I hate to see what a dealership would charge for an oil/filter change...
